Bodies of government

The Governing Council is the body of deliberation and decision of the Consortium. It is formed by seven members: three on behalf of the Ministry of the Environment and Housing, two on behalf of the City Hall of El Prat, and two on behalf of the City Hall of Viladecans.

The presidency of the Governing Council corresponds to the counsellor of Environment and Housing, who also presides at the Council of Cooperation.

The vice-presidency corresponds to one of the members of the Governing Council on behalf of the Ministry of the Environment and Housing. From the beginning, this task has been fulfilled by the same person who holds the post of general manager of the Natural Environment of the Ministry of the Environment and Housing.

The management of the Consortium is named by the Governing Council at the proposal of the president.
Nowadays, the following representatives form the Governing Council:
